On this page you will meet all the new baby goats that arrive on the farm. Sometimes we will have some critters to sell too, so check out our For Sale page.
Right now we only have a few goats to breed, so as our herd gets bigger, we will have some to sell. For now you can see our babies being born and the quality that we will eventually have to sell. We will be using bucks from Hawk Shadow Farm Boers to improve our herd and will have a select few kids to sell each year until we have our small herd where we want it in numbers.

This is "Hawk Shadow Farm Durango". He is the sire of the following kids.
This young buck is 75% Kiko and 25% Spanish. He was used to breed our couple does for their first time kidding. We like the hardiness and parasite resistance of the Kiko breed. We will be keeping the female kids this year to breed back to a Registered Boer Buck next year.

Our first kid born this year was a doe.
This little doeling was born July 30, 2005. She is sired by "Durango" out of "Freckles". She is part Nubian/Boer/Kiko/Spanish. She is going to be a fine addition to our herd. |

We named her "Moomoochic Ranch Pebbles".
This little doeling already has the length to produce nice loins on 4-H wethers. We can't wait to see how she grows out. Stay tuned, we'll keep you updated. |
This little doe was born August 17, 2005.
Her name is "Moomoochic Ranch Natasha". She is a twin. You will meet her brother later. Her sire is "Durango" and she is out of "Sassy". She definitely has the color of her sire. She will be staying at Moomoochic Ranch to increase the herd.

"Natasha" is a pretty little doe. She is part Nubian/Boer/Kiko/Spanish. We are hoping the parasite resistance, hardiness, and mothering abilities of the kiko will be bred into her and her future offspring. She is also a really neat color. |
